Here's to 42!
Today I turned 42. My daughter asked me this morning if I was excited and my first reaction was "not really". It's a Wednesday, I had work and it didn't seem like it was anything special. I had lunch with a co-worker and my guys took me to dinner. Mexican food and margaritas are ALWAYS a win in my book! As I sit and reflect on the day, I'm thinking about that question Sydni (my daughter for those reading who don't know me well yet) asked me this morning. I have decided I am excited. I'm thankful to be alive to see another year. I'm blessed to be mostly healthy. Most importantly, I'm excited for the journey that I started back in January/February of this year, a journey that is and has literally changed my life and how I view myself and my future.
